Australia's Strange Talk

Australians, Stephen Docker, Gerard Sidhu, Travis Constable and Gillan Gregory, formed Strange Talk back in February 2010. Their sound has been heavily compared to Cut Copy and Passion Pit. They've already remixed the likes of Muscles, Miami Horror and Art Vs Science under the production moniker Thieves of Aon.
Strange Talk's debut EP is set to be released early next year. Their track ‘Climbing Walls’ is included in Kitsuné’s tenth Maison compilation, ‘The Fireworks Issue’ which will be released online on November 15.

The story behind Houses is an inspiring one. After getting fired from his job, Dexter Tortoriell & his girlfriend Megan Messina left the mainland to live in Hawaii, learning how to live off of the earth.
“I got laid off from my job at the end of last year and decided I needed a change. My girlfriend put in her two weeks and we moved out to a little cabin in Papaikou, Hawaii. It’s a pretty remote place outside of Hilo (i.e no plumbing/electricity/gas). We worked for meals during the day cultivating microorganisms and learning the basics of sustainable living. We drank showered and cooked with rain water. In our downtime, she would paint and I would record."
The band’s debut album, All Night comes out tomorrow via Lefse Records

Oh Land is a peculiar new cinematic electropop Dane who recently sailed across the sea to the artistic haven of Brooklyn, NY. With an opera singer for a mother, a theater organist for a father and Björk’s Homogenic on constant rotation, Oh Land was enraptured by the combination of experimental and classical arts. “My goal is to sound like I’m from 2050, but still feel really classic, like the music is an old friend,” said Oh Land. She spent her days pirouetting as a ballet dancer at the Danish Royal Ballet Academy when an injury forced her to reinvent herself and discover her true talent and passion as a musician. Oh Land soon released her first album, Fauna, which garnered critical acclaim in her homeland of Denmark. Her soundscapes are lavish, crunchy, symphonic, brute and captivated with rhythms that fly apart. She translates the sounds live via her “contraption” – a homemade one-woman-band music box topped with balloon video projections (seeing is believing). Her music is for movement and new songs such as the thumping “Sun of a Gun” and euphoric “White Nights” have proven to make even the most pretentous get up and dance. Having been discovered by Epic Records at 2009’s SXSW, she is currently putting the finishing touches on her US debut album and an EP to be released this fall.

Be prepared to spark up conversation while waiting for a much anticipated seat, they don't take reservations - it is worth the wait!

Yelle is a French singer from the town of Saint-Brieuc, Bretagne. She rose to fame on MySpace when she posted a song titled "Short Dick Cuizi", dissing Cuizinier, a member of the Parisian hip-hop group TTC. With producer and close friend GrandMarnier, Yelle has recorded a debut album Pop-Up, after her hit single "Je Veux Te Voir" (a finalized version of "Short Dick Cuizi"). The song, which samples the bassline from 20 Fingers' 1994 club hit Short Dick Man, received heavy airplay on MTV.
